Abstract: Electron Cryo-Microscopy (CryoEM) is becoming a powerful tool in determining structures of biological macromolecules at atomic resolution. However, the general applicability and efficiency are still challenges, limiting the large-scale applications of CryoEM in the wider ranges of scientific researches and pharmaceutical companies. Under this background, we are developing an automated CryoEM system to enable a high-throughput pipeline for CryoEM structure determination. By introducing machine learning algorithms, including deep learning and particle filter, we tried to make the CryoEM system more intelligent. By parallel computing, we are making the CryoEM faster and more efficient. Besides the single-particle technology, we also worked on a system to solve protein crystal structure by cryoEM.
