Plant Biology Faculty Positions

The recently established Center for Plant Biology (plant.life.tsinghua.edu.cn) in the College of Life Sciences at Tsinghua University has initiated an expansion of the plant biology program and is seeking outstanding candidates for multiple faculty positions. The positions may be filled at the Assistant, Associate, or Full Professor level. We encourage applications from individuals using molecular, genetic, biochemical, cellular, or genomic/proteomic approaches, to investigate outstanding questions in modern plant biology. The successful applicant will be expected to develop a strong and creative research program and contribute to teaching in plant biology at the undergraduate and graduate levels. In addition to generous start-up packages, state-of-the-art facilities, and internationally competitive salary and benefits, the center will provide an exciting research environment and efficient administrative and support mechanisms. There is no limitation on candidate’s nationality and race, and foreign applicants are encouraged to apply.
Applications should include a cover letter, curriculum vitae, statements of research and teaching interests (less than 3 pages).
