研究方向: 

邱义福实验室主要研究代谢和免疫系统的交互作用,目前专注于能量代谢的免疫学调控机制。炎症反应是许多重大慢性代谢疾病的普遍特征,包括肥胖、2型糖尿病、血脂紊乱及心血管疾病,然而免疫系统如何在组织和动物整体水平上调控代谢系统,仍然很不清楚。我们的前期工作揭示了先天免疫系统在动物适应性产热中发挥不可或缺的作用。这些发现挑战了多年来的教条——神经内分泌系统介导所有对低温环境及饮食的适应性反应。我们以小鼠为模式动物,综合使用分子、细胞、遗传、代谢和免疫学等手段来探究不同的免疫细胞在关键代谢组织(如脂肪、肝脏及胰腺)中的功能和相互作用范式,目标是揭示它们的细胞分子基础。目前关注三个问题:1)先天免疫系统尤其是2型先天免疫细胞在适应性产热中的作用;2)2型细胞因子促进褐色、米色脂肪生发的分子机制;3)筛选和阐明脂肪代谢免疫调控的新的细胞和分子基础。我们希望通过这些研究为开发新的、更有效的治疗肥胖和代谢综合征的方法策略提供理论基础。
