Research Focus:

Our lab leverages a powerful combination of cutting-edge technologies—including deep learning, high-throughput super-resolution live-cell imaging, electron microscopy, genetic engineering, and biochemical analysis—to understand the intricate molecular mechanisms that drive fundamental cellular behavior. Using both model organisms and mammalian cells, we investigate how the cytoskeleton and signaling molecules orchestrate key cellular processes like asymmetric cell division, directed cell migration, and the formation of cilia. Our recent work focused on ciliogenesis, particularly in the context of human ciliopathies, aiming to elucidate the precise regulatory networks that govern the assembly and function of these organelles.
