Research Area:
My lab has a long term research interest on the molecular mechanism of metabolic diseases including obesity, diabetes and liver steatosis. Using adipocytes and hepatocytes as model cells and genetically modified mice as a tool, we systematically analyzed the regulatory pathways for lipid metabolism with a particular focus on the biogenesis and growth of lipid droplets.
