Research Area
1) Developing new approaches to cancer immunotherapy, including: TLR-related innate immune functions, epigenetic regulations of immune and cancer cells, and exploring combined cancer immunotherapy.
2) The mechanisms that regulate immune cell exhaustion, specifically, we discovered that HPK1 regulated T cell exhaustion through the NFkB-Blimp1 axis.
3) Structure-based drug discovery, in particular, discovery of inhibitors for HPK1, GLK and DAPK2.
4) Synthesis of bioactive natural products and development of new synthetic methods.
