实验室主要以斑马鱼和小鼠为模式动物,研究脊椎动物胚胎早期发育,包括胚胎卵裂期和早期囊胚的细胞命运、胚层诱导和分化、背-腹轴和头-尾轴形成的重要调控,并揭示其作用机制。
