主要科研领域与方向

实验室致力于揭示生命体内外复杂的细胞间通讯网络。数以百亿计的肠道菌在我们机体的作用是什么?巨噬细胞如何感知实质细胞的代谢活动进而调控组织微环境?我们的研究围绕这两个看着毫不相干但却存在内在关联的问题开展。我们以菌群信号及实质细胞的代谢信号为研究对象,解析肠道稳态的维持机制,解析组织中巨噬细胞与实质细胞的协同互作,探索不同生命实体(菌群 vs. 宿主细胞,巨噬细胞 vs. 实质细胞)之间如何通过化学信号进行“交流”,以维持整体的稳态与健康,揭示了生命作为一个复杂系统的底层逻辑。
