生物大分子(如RNA与蛋白质)能够通过液-液相分离在细胞中形成分子凝聚体,广泛地参与不同生物学过程,这使得相分离成为目前生物学领域最前沿的研究之一。相分离这一机制不仅更新了我们对许多生物学问题的理解,也为我们研究生物学问题提供了新的思路。实验室利用生物学、物理学、化学和分子模拟多学科手段研究相分离在植物生长发育以及感受、应答和记忆环境胁迫过程中的作用及机制。
