研究方向:

人体自身免疫系统正常情况下可以监视并防止干细胞异化为无序增殖的癌细胞,但是癌细胞可以通过多种途径演化从而逃避宿主免疫系统的攻击。人类个体之间识别体内异常的免疫基因差别巨大,因此依据患者遗传背景对癌症病例进行个性化分析对掌握癌细胞免疫逃避机制和了解癌症发生过程致关重要。我们利用大规模癌症数据并结合患者自身的基因组和转录组信息,运用深度学习等前沿模式识别技术研究癌细胞的免疫逃避机制,探索个体对癌症免疫疗法反应存在差异的原因。同时,我们应用定向进化技术来增强免疫细胞对癌细胞的敏感性和特异性。实验室的总体目标是通过设计个性化免疫治疗策略来提高癌症治疗的疗效和预后。
