Research area

We innovate and develop multidisciplinary integrated methods, including single-molecule fluorescence imaging, single-cell sequencing, and bioinformatics analysis, to investigate the pathogenic mechanisms of clinically complex diseases and explore novel therapeutic strategies. Our recent research has focused on: 1) somatic mutations present in normal human tissues and their role in tumorigenesis; 2) circulating tumor cells and multi-organ metastasis in cancer; 3) elucidating the pathogenic mechanisms of pediatric immune diseases at single-cell resolution; and 4) the molecular mechanisms underlying antibiotic bactericidal action and bacterial drug resistance.
