Postdoctoral Fellowship in Functional Genomics Study of Pathogen-Host Interaction

We are looking for a highly motivated postdoctoral fellow interested in studying pathogen-host interaction in bats using high throughput screening approaches. The fellow will work on an exciting collaborative project between lab at Tsinghua University in China and Dr. Linfa Wang's lab at Duke-NUS Graduate Medical School in Singapore. The project involves functional genomics screening of different libraries in bat cells to identify key gene(s) or pathway(s) which may explain the extreme ability of bats in harbouring a large number of lethal viruses (such as SARS and Ebola viruses) without showing clinical diseases. The ideal candidate should have extensive research experience in virology or molecular biology or functional genomics. Excellent research support and internationally competitive salary will be provided matching the experience and track record of the applicant.
