Biography：
Prof. Dr. Guowang Xu received his Ph.D in Dalian Institute of Chemical Physics (DICP), Chinese Academy of Sciences (CAS) in Jun., 1991. Now he is the administrative vice-director of Biotechnology Division, and director of CAS Key Laboratory of Separation Science for Analytical Chemistry in DICP.
Abstract：
Prof. Xu’s research interests include the innovative research on separation and analysis methods of complex samples, research on metabolomics analysis technology platform and its application in diseases, traditional Chinese medicine, plant phenotype and food safety.
Prof. Xu has co-written 5 books and published a series of peer-reviewed papers in the ‘Web of Science Core Collection’ (WoS) indexed journals including PNAS, Nature Protocols, Advance Science, Hepatology, Cancer Res., Anal. Chem. etc., and holds more than 50 China patents. He is a member of permanent scientific committee of HPLC. He is also a contributing editor of TrAC and members of editorial board of more than 10 journals including Anal. Chem., Anal. Chim. Acta，J. Proteome Res. etc. He has been announced to be on The Power Lists 2019, 2015, and 2013: the Top 100 most influential figures in analytical science around the world (https://theanalyticalscientist.com/powerlist).
